Colangelo College of Business

When developing its accountancy degree program, Northern Arizona University wanted to create a program that would prepare students for instantly entering the workforce. Ottawa University ranks as one of the largest university chains and systems in the United States. Though originally established with just one campus in Kansas, it later expanded and built new campuses in both Kansas and Arizona. Its largest campus in the west is in Sunrise, but it also operates a fairly large campus in Phoenix. Western International University is one of several university systems owned and operated by Apollo Education Group. Founded in 1973, this company primarily offers programs designed for nontraditional learners. WIU is one of its purchases that offers classes for adult students. This university dates back to the late 1970s. Apollo Education Group acquired WIU in recent years and announced plans to shut down the campus.
