In this video, management researcher David Burkus talks about why pay transparency could be beneficial to small and large businesses. According to Burkus, employees of businesses that are open about salaries are typically more engaged and satisfied than those who work for businesses that keep salaries secret. Burkus goes on to state that employees working for secretive companies often feel underpaid and discriminated against.
